Trivia

• In the manga, Mistress 9 was the result of young Hotaru being implanted with a Daimon Egg that contained the creature. The anime Mistress 9, an incorporeal force of evil, took residence within Hotaru. Eventually, both versions were awakened once they acquired Chibiusa’s Silver Crystal (manga) or pure heart (anime).
• Hotaru regained control of her own body in the anime, and she returned as Sailor Saturn. Whereas in the manga, a monster emerged from Mistress 9, and it was eventually defeated by Sailor Moon.
