Figure Wishes: Takeshi Miyagawa’s Sailor Moon Line

With the coveted Sailor Moon license finally up for grabs, there are a lot of possibilities out on the horizon. I know most people would like to see either Good Smile Company or Alter get their hands on it, but my wish is a bit more unconventional: many years ago, one of my favorite sculptors worked on a ton of the cast: T’s System still on occasion produces PVC versions of some of Takeshi Miyagawa’s sculpts, so I’d love to see some go into production!

I am all kinds of excited for this figurine. If this post shows anything, it is how versatile she is.

3 different faces, a Crescent Moon Wand with the crystal, and one without, as well as parts for “Moon Tiara Action”. Even parts of her hair have been made using clear plastic, which I know is common, but it makes me think of the SMW gashapon series.

Their comment on the website also hints to a “next time” for potential comical facial expressions, so I’m willing to bet this won’t be the last we see of Sailor Moon on the figure market!
