Bahaha. I wish I had thought of this when I was watching the series this summer. I had to turn down the volume sometimes. So much unnecessary grunting and just strange sighing sounds. Oh dub.

I’m watching the dub after years of watching the original, and I can’t take these feelings. So much nostalgia. It’s like I’m in elementary school, watching this on Toonami, eating an after school snack. Can I please be six years old for a day? T____T

A Message For Everyone

Regardless of what your opinion is of the “Sailor Says” segment of the Dub, this is a sweet, relevant, well-worded and important message that more people should hear.

We give the dub so much grief, but we never really give it the praise it deserves. The messages are really quite nice. They told us things like love who you are, be yourself, be passionate, don’t keep quiet if friends are being hurt. Overall, these are things I would probably tell my kids if I was a parent. Not too bad for a kids show.
