At Otakon, we did a Moon Pride Opening group, complete with custom-painted umbrellas. I’m sad we didn’t get to wear it all together for very long at all during the con (schedules, hotel check out, Sunday is a godawful day!) but it was awesome.
It’s done! This is the first time I’ve done paper art and I underestimated how much work this was going to be. XD;; I probably should’ve done something simpler, but I just couldn’t help it! I don’t know if I’m going to make more paper art, but if I do I’ll probably do a Princess Tutu one next. :)
Laser-engraved onto wood panels, watercolor, gouache, and color pencil.
9” x 12” ea.
These are my laser-engraved illustrations done for the Moon Crisis: Sailor Moon Tribute Art Show held at Rothick Art Haus in Anaheim from July 2014 to August 2014. Tomorrow, or today now, August 9th at 6 PM, is the second opening reception, so I thought I’d share these on tumblr. :)
